New Axe - Pup Combo

So I am in the market for a new guitar and I'm debating between getting a Fat Strat and changing the pickups or getting a Jackson Soloist with a H/S/S combo.

I'm pretty sure regardless I want to try the SD Hot Rails for the S spots, but for the bucker I am debating between the Dimarzio SuperD and Duncan Distortion. How do these pups match up against each other?

P.S. - In case you are wondering, yes I am tryin to get that Maiden tone. lol

Maiden tone = DiMarzio Super Distortion/PAF
