ive had this guitar now for a while, its a peavey jfx-1 semi hollow. basically a 335 shape. i got it for a discount and i couldnt pass it up. the guitar plays exceptionally well. the neck is definatly thicker than my les pauls 60's neck. and the guitar is HEAVEY. the pickups on it are pretty balanced, but of course adding some duncans or any aftermarket pickup would definatly benefit it. it has a very trebely sound on the bridge, and its very very creamy, but powerful on the neck side. overall the guitar is a good buy for people who want a cheap semi hollow.

They look really sharp. They are obviously made in China, for only $399 price tags. But, hey, there are some fine guitars made there right now. I've owned and played Peavey stuff since the mid 70's, so I have to say they make a good product. Sounds like another good option for a 335 style guitar.
