Played two. Both were very light. Their necks were fine, the PUs were good. Everything else was "meh". The Floyd felt as if it was going to break under my hand. Fretwork was mediocre and the finish was bland considering one can buy a DK2MQ at a similar price.

see, I was afraid of that happening.

so many people raved about the MIJ being even better than the MIA. there was really no way to win by moving to MIM. that's a shame. I like my MIJ.

Mind you when I said "mediocre" I meant that it's workable, but just not for people who want Satriani/Petrucci/Timmons-esque action.

They aren't that bad, but for the price they're selling here, I would save a bit more and buy a Jackson DK2QM (trem is more or less the same) or an Ibby Premium and upgrade the PUs (whose trem is slightly better than both, though).

Though of course, for those two's price, I could also get a Warmoth or a custom Carvin made to my taste.
