I love the jazz III's for all except acoustic.... seems like the perfect pickup for me.

I tried some Jazz IIIs a while back and came to really like the shape, but not the thickness. Browsing through the Dunlop catalog, I found these: http://www.jimdunlop.com/product/Tortex-Pitch-Black-Jazz-III. Now I've got the Jazz III shape and feel, but the thickness I am used to .73mm.

Love these, I've been using them for 5-6 years now, and anything bigger just feels really weird to play.

Can't wait to try these! Only thing stopping me from trying the jazz III was the size

They make a pick with the same material/thickness and point as the Jazz III, but in the standard Fender 351 size.

P.S. - The new "Tortex III" are different than the "Jazz III Tortex"
