new gretsch electromatic hollowbodies

how are these guitars generally? I'd love a gretsch, or similar, but really cannot afford the top quality american models. These new korean models seem to have had pretty good reviews and are in my budget, need to travel about 30 miles to play one though, worth my journey? I might just go for a jag/jazzmaster instead though, need to play these guitars thouroughly firsthand.

they're great guitars, seriously

if you're like me, you'll wanna eventually upgrade the pickups to some tv classics, but the stock ones are good too

well worth the journey
