Going to pick this up tomorrow for $140. Lemon oil, Turtle Wax, and wadding polish later, I think I'll have a sweet axe for a great price! Made in Japan hehehe!!!!

Looks like my first guitar- a Memphis plywood Les Paul Copy. I too paid $120, but that was around 1986

For $140 that's not half bad at all. If that's a solid wood axe, then I'd venture as far as to say that's quite a steal. Honestly tho, if it's made in Japan, it can't be bad. The japs seem to be building some really nice guitars, I know I love my CIJ strat.

I too have a Lark, same everything except the color. Some guy wants to trade me a Dean Standard evo, an esp ltd-50 and some pedals for it, deal or no deal? Please reply or hand out advice quickly for I am to make the trade this coming weekend. Thanks, Jeremy

Pull those pickups out and see if you can recognize the wood species in the cavity.

If it's a mahogany body then you win.

If it's plywood then i'd save your money.

The original thread is from 2007... I don't remember when the last time I saw Saggy on the board was. That's way cool that there's a connection here though!

I love the guitar, it's amazing! It has a contour shape on the body, the same as an authentic Gibson, with a little tweat here and there, it would pass as a real gibson or les paul, it's practically identical. I really want a Gospel Morsite or Fender Jag, but it's not offered in the deal, lol.

Maybe the things you get in the deal can then be sold or traded for anything you'd actually like.
