NEW Heritage Day!!!!!

Another shot on EBAY pays off!

I recieved a beautiful 1987 H 170 Custom today from my ever-reliable UPS man.

Custom because of the block inlays, bound headstock and MOP logo....maybe even an ultra top (if Heritage did ultra tops as an upgrade back then?)

Appears to be all original, Schaller hardware and pups, Grovers. There is no fret wear on this one...and its in a solid 9.5 condition! Must have been stowed away for quite a few years, because the frets were almost rusty, very corroded. So i tore it down, gave it a good cleaning and a new set of DiAddario 10s...and plugged her in!

WOW!! A fabulous sounding H 170! Great neck, super low action!!!

I want one of those sofa king badly...and 1987 was the year i was born so i always look for awesome guitars from that year.

I've probably said this to you about a dozen times over the years, buuut I'd really appreciate it if you held onto this one until i raise the funds for it :smokin:

****, man, every time I think I've seen you buy the nicest guitar you can, you go and get something like this. I have a bit of a love affair with those double-cut body shapes and that flame is stunning. Totally my favourite I've seen from your collection, even if I have said that about a dozen times.
