Its a little sleepy, but thats the way Roy Buchanan played it, Roy Loved Hendrix!!!
Roy did alot of that stuff long before hendrix came along, and Roy did it the hard way no effects, only using the guitars tone and volume knobs..etc.

CAUTION with head phones at 3:36 to 4:44 we call it: "Machine Gun dynamics" we blast the room for 10 seconds then right back to the churchy sleepy low volume.

Nice tune - different than Jimi and Roy's, but I believe that is about the closest that anyone will come to Roy's version, except for Danny Gatton and Steve Gorospe.

Cool but you cheated and diidn't play the intro! I say that because I am learning the recorded version from a program called Guitar Guru that is available on AOL. It's cool, it's a little midi player and shows the fret board and fingerings and you can slow it down to learn.

Nice job.
