Finally have my L-90's for my gluestick thing.....
After our local postal service(read state owned) screwed up the first time, this time I was lucky

If that tone had just a little more "bite" or "snarl" it would remind me of the guitar solo on Reeling In The Years...Steely Dan. As it was, it still reminded me of the guitar solo in Reeling In The Years!

Thanks...yeah had the sound alittle on the round side...fooled around with pickup heights after this clip...
Reissues...love them though....neck is a 2,8H one, and the bridge is 4,0H one.
Wanted them clear sounding
They fit this gluestick well, plus I got rid of the mooh of the normal ones...

I hear the reissues are killer...I wish I'd kept my original to be honest and even more so now since I have a 2 bucker guitar that needs a set of pickups!

The L-90's are very clear pickups but still very powerful...I dig 'em and they can be really smooth as well as very rude...just listen to 70's Aerosmith for the rude sounds!!!

Yep those old Aerosmith tunes from back then had some nice sounds...
I dig these buckers a great deal, remembered that you had the old ones
Got Microcoils and some 280's as well on some of my other guitars.

Depends on the guitar.....if has a natural big sound, the 280's will do just right. Use them on my old 85 Navigator strat.....
