To do this at home, I'd need something like a Power Station ($700), 4 good speakers ($500) and an enclosure ($500) or Two 2 speaker enclosures.($800)-

Not too far off from the $2k they are supposedly charging.

It may be overkill for many players, but I'm all for more innovation in cabinet technology. Since cabs represent half of our tonal equation, It makes sense to further the exploration in that direction.

That's the one thing about the power station that I like. It allows for an effects loops after the amp output.

Besides this idea, I'm fascinated by the cabs Kasha came up with. On those, the baffle board moves via footswitch, going between closed and open at any angle you want.

I'm on the list for one of the first 25 built. We shall see. My gear sell off will begin soon. Haha.

Also going to play a Songwriter, K60 and new K29 at some point soon. Really looking forward to it.

seeing a komet in the wild is pretty rare but the one ive seen was a great amp!

Had one I bought on Reverb the other day but CME sold it and said the listing was a mistake.
