New Little 59 Tele vs the LPJ

Often I like to record 2 samples of the same song on both of my guitars to judge which sounds better. So I made a short clip of rock you like a hurricane with my new Tele little 59 pickup; then did the same with the les Paul Jr. I was pretty impressed with the Tele sound but think the Gibby still sounds better. I used an especially aggressive amp setting so maybe that favored the Les Paul too. In any case, am curious to hear all your thoughts. And yes, I'm still a beginner and realize the playing isn't great. It's just meant to show a comparison and sample the new pup.

Sounds fine. Don't get hung up on that thing where you leave the amp the same for different guitars. Tweak the settings for one guitar, then re-tweak them to suit the other. Make it sound good for you.

That's good advice. I will do that. Thanks.

Yeah, they sound very similar.

My experience with the Lil 59 is that it sounds very muffled compared to its big brother which is very bright.

Good advice to adjust amp settings when you change instruments...that Tele really needs more treble.
