I was at The Answer gig tonight and had a chance to chat to the guitarist's tech about the new Marshall amp that the guitarist is using - the 'Vintage Modern'
Basically, it's a rival to the Cornford Ritchie Kotzen amp. Single channel with a foot switchable gain boost, 100w and get this, using KT66 power tubes!!!
Details are still a little sketchy (ie - he wasn't letting much out of the bag!!!)
But apparantly, there is a 4 channel all tube amp out too as a rival to amps such as the Engl Powerball!!!! All wil become clear (apparently) in the next week or so!!
