New Martin acoustic

My new D28 on the right. I bought the Alvarez Yairi in 1988, the Larivee D10 in 1998, and I bought the D28 today. This D28 has one of the sweetest necks I've ever played on an acoustic.

Re: New Martin acoustic

Can't go wrong with a D28 in my book. I own one myself. Nice snag.

Howdy,

If you think that D-28 sounds great now, just wait 10 more years! Congrats. :)

Nice acoustic collection. I'm sitting here with my 2001 D-28 on my lap. It's just now starting to age and sound better.

The D-28 is your plainest looking guitar, and probably your best sounding one! There's a reason why it's the most recorded acoustic guitar of all time....I think.
Anytime I play acoustics at the store, it just reconfirms how much I like my D-28.
I especially love when other people play it, so I can hear it, standing right in front of it.
Sometimes, I forget what a cannon it is, because I only hear it from the top.

A D28 doesn't have all the fancy inlays and binding, but it is amazing how well it is made. The fret and nut detailing is almost flawless.
