Just tested the Worker Bee out on guitar overdubs ... as a general rule of thumb, I HATE condenser mics on guitar cabs, especially when using high gain. Well, that changed today.
This mic is absolutely KILLER -- it's unbelievably quiet, and has an INSANE dynamic range: the more I dug in, the more the mic resolved my playing dynamics, responding in time with my playing in a way that actually threw me off a couple times. It also fully captures all of the harmonic overtones coming from my tone. I honestly feel it is the highest resolution representation of my guitar tone to date.
There is one HUGE caveat to using this mic, however -- it insta-clipped both of my Focusrite interfaces. I had to schlep out my SSL (oh, the tribulation lol), set the input gain all the way down, AND use the pad just get a tone that was not clipping on impact.
