The Ebow sounds like a muted trumpet - just needs some slightly more trumpetty phrasing.

Genre? Jazzy bluesy.....

Late night club, low lighting, brushed drums.... Nice!

It's a great song! I have a few constructive criticisms:

1. You have a good singing voice at times, but once in a while it sounds like you're clamping up and going all nasal. It's not something you can't fix - you just have to be conscious of when it's happening. Maybe lessons would be a good idea - I know I sure need some!

2. The guitar tone sounds a little too crisp and lacks low end. Maybe this is just your recording technique.

3. That EBow part is cool, but panning it hard right makes it seem like it doesn't really belong there. Bring it in to the center a bit. In general, when panning something, stop and ask yourself: "am I doing this because it sounds best, or because I just wanted to pan something hard right?"

4. Not really a criticism, but this tune would be super duper cool with a stand-up bass!

Overall, it's a really catchy and original song that could use a bit more polish to make it great. Well done!

On of my favorite recordings I've heard on here. Sounds almost Beatles-ish.

Your voice has elements of cool, and elements of not so cool. But I loved everything else. I like that your voice is not too serious sounding, kinda light and airy. But that being said, it could be better. Everything else was cool!

I liked the ebow too.
