New (Paisley) amp

I have wanted a Deluxe reverb for a long time and have been eyeing this limited run blue paisley for a long time. The problem has been the wife and my rather large gear collection. I finally decided to go for it but it cost me a stratocaster that had to go in trade.

I am totally glad that I did it. Once I got the amp home and replaced the (horrible) Jensen P12Q with a WGS ET65 this thing is fantastic. I absolutely love everything about it except for not being able to defeat the bright cap on C-10 to make the reverb/tremolo channel darker. Eventually I plan on taking it to my tech to have that mod done on a push pull pot that will replace the volume control.

But anyway, here it is with my surf green/ivory Princeton

Congrats! I've seen a few of these in the stores - a sunburst one and a pink paisley. They look gorgeous but the downside is that the finish wouldn't be durable at all so not a gigging amp for sure.

Cool amp! That's the blue "Flower Power" finish of the early '70s. That and the "Pink Paisley" were so cool. Now you need one of the Strat/Tele guitars!
