I love the train-of-thought behind the Antiquity series of pick ups.

The regular Ant humbucker set - lives in my PRS Santana double cut.
The JB Ant = AWESOME.
Jaguar Ant I & Ant II
Jazzmaster Ant
P90 Ant
. . . and and and.

NOW . . . i would love to see/hear an Alnico 2 Pro Antiquity set <3

That would probably be very close to the Antiquity humbucker.

Actually, I am not sure how much an Alnico II Pro changed since it was introduced. I never dived into its history, even though it is my favorite neck pickup.

My bet is if they had to do it, they'd use the butyrate bobbins, the lighter potting, and the degaussed magnet.

Not sure how much difference in sound the butyrate bobbins make, but I'm sure there would be some difference from the lighter potting and the degaussed magnet.
