Just had a PATB distortion set put in my Gibson L.P.. Tons of output, no doubt there. I always gotta try something different, and I love what I am hearing. Man, the harmonics fly off with little effort, something that really doesnt matter much to most perhaps, but I love that. I already reduced the gain on my EVH down and still, tons of metal madness. Well, metal like old farts like me love. On a side note, had the guitar get a set up, and the tech said the fret work was PERFECT. My last high output set, I think its time to try some Antiquities. I just hope they dont sound like the Slash set, I could not bond with them at all. I found them to have too much bass and then an ice pick on top. Speaking of which, I love the neck PATB as well. Liquid and just enough snap, just the way I like them. Even with my old man Sus chords, the neck pup doesnt get all muddy. Eventually, the Antiquities will go in here and I will find(buy) another spot for the PATBs.
