pups and parts came today
pups are PRS 7 String HFS and Vintage Bass Pickup Set..that i bought off ebay. I bought these to pop into my ltd m107.. the stock pups are muddy as hell and lack everything IMO.. totally lifeless.. Im hoping these pups will give the guitar a bit of life.. anything is better than the stock imo

i bought some parts from guitarelectronics.com as well but i didnt get everything i needed.I did not anticipate getting a new guitar and i changed my plans on a wiring on another.. ill order the other parts when i order the humbuckers for the new guitar and a middle single to replace the one in my strat

in the next few weeks..
*ill replace the pups in my m107
* replace a kill switch, change the schaller mega e switch to a regular 5 way, and install a push/pull pot so i can have a neck always on option for my strat
*shield and totally change up my DK2 wiring..atm is a v/v/t.. thinking of going with a V/T/T with a twist... wire the pup directly to the output and use the volume for the N and M..

when the new guitar gets here.. it gets new pups.. volume bypass pot and a kill switch
also ill replace the middle pup on the strat at this time

EVENTUALLY.. ill buy cases for my guitars.. especially for my dinky and the new one

Re: New pickup/parts day

PRS makes some good stuff. If they don't work out consider Lace. I'm still thinking of DB-7's for my Schecter.

PRS 7 String HFS and Vintage Bass Pickup Set.

To the best of my knowledge, the only current production PRS seven stringer is in the SE series. Its pickups are made in Korea - possibly by G&B.
