New pickup setup for my strat

I am heavy metal player with my Fender Stratocasters and I've been using Seymour Duncan single coil sized humbuckers. One of my guitar has everything axe set and the other one has Hotrails set. New wave of British Heavy Metal style is my favourite. Of course I'm a big fan of Iron Maiden, Absolva, Blaze Bayley, Judas Priest etc.

I want to change both of my guitars' pickup configuration to H-S-S setup.

My idea is to put 59 Trembucker ( TB-59) to the bridge and Classic Stack Plus Strat ( STK-S4n) for the middle and the neck position for my nr. 1 guitar.

For the 2nd guitar; I'm planning to put Duncan Distortion Trembucker ( TB-6 ) for the bridge and Little 59 for the middle and the neck position.

Now I have 2 questions.

1) How does it sound for you to use these setups ? I'm open to alternative recommendations.

2) Which pots do you recommend ? 250 or 500 K...

Thanks in advance.

Re: New pickup setup for my strat

Your first idea is a great one. I'd use a 500k pot for the volume and bridge tone control, with a 250k pot for the middle and neck pickups. For the 2nd guitar, I'd use 500k all around. They are 2 great sets you've picked.

Yes, great schemes. The 1st one will be more classic and the 2nd one will be more gainy. I've tried the 2nd set up before and really liked it.
