My experience has consistently been that PRS SE series guitars love P90s.
On the PA model, that means P-Rails pickups and some clever switching. Upgrading the stock pots to American-made A500k push-pull pots is one option. SD Triple Shot mounting surrounds is another. A combination of both upgrades maximises the switching permutations without drastically altering the appearance of the guitar.
A cleaner/simpler approach is to employ regular US-made pots and a Freeway 3x3-03 selector switch. Wiring this up is tricky but, once it is done, the result is a versatile guitar that is easy to use, offering six usable sounds.
