It sounds good, don't get me wrong, but some settings seem to lack definition.

I've had the Studio Bass since pre-Christmas, and like it a lot. It falls in the "polite" compressor camp, in that if you want that overly-compressed tone, this pedal will not be for you. However, if you want an easy to use, always on type of comp that you can use for any situation (I'm using it regularly at church, when I'm being run direct), this deserves some serious consideration. The frequency switch and the blend knob are the stars on this pedal, allowing you to really dial in what you want.

does the led change its light intensity when the pedal is compressing?
