Ok guys and gals, I recently scored a Charvel Fusion 24 3/4" scale, 24 fret neck with a rosewood fretboard from a friend. The only thing wrong with it is that the previous owner he got it from had sanded the logo and paint off the headstock down to bare wood and all the finish from the back of the neck. He did a great job. Other than that, it's perfect. I have a body from a Jackson Fusion Pro with a Floyd and h-s-s routing. They both fit together perfectly so.....
I need some help with pickup choices. The bridge pickup will be a Duncan Distortion model that I put an alnico 8 magnet in. I think the Lil Screamin Demon would be a great match for a neck pickup but it's not set in stone. The neck pickup has to be humbucking and will have a coil tap just like the brigde pickup. I have no idea what to get for a middle single coil. I'm thinking a true single coil and I want a smooth, mellow, sweet sounding pickup.
Any suggestions for a middle pickup or middle/neck combo you think would work well with my bridge pickup? All suggestions welcome.
