The only complete bridge I had was a Tele w/humbucker...so I put it on. added a second HB (made p'up ring from old strat pickguard). Installed new switch, wiring, pots and all. Installed new tuners and set it up (it's actually string through body). tuned and adjusted height for saddles, set intonation. Plays and sounds very good!!! Bought the body and neck for $55 on Ebay, had to buy the tuners, all the rest I had. Came out better than I thought it might. It's an Ibby Micro.

Good job. Any before shots?

Interesting... Is that actually a Mikro body, or was the neck from a different guitar originally? I didn't think the Mikro Destroyer body was that large.

If I had that, I'd be sorely tempted to refinish it. Probably only because I'm still high on the paint fumes from Kramersteen's DT50 project.

Nice refurb!

I can't say for sure as I bought it together (still screwed together). It may have been changed previously. I may refinish it down the road now that it's getting warmer. I can do paint in the garage. Thanks for the3 kind words.

That's a neat cheap guitar. Did you have to do anything to the body to accomodate the bridge and pup ?

Thanks! No, all I had to do was measure to make sure the bridge was close enough to set intonation. Actaully was a good fit. I had to drill the bridge for the string-through. (I actually remembered to run a ground wire under the bridge...the first time!!!! lol)

Thanks again,

Sweet. Its really funny a few years back I cared a damn for Ibanez. Just called them Shred sticks. Now I tend to like Ibanez a lot. Stillnot very fond of RGs though.
