New Short Clip

Playing around with the Soldano 44 again. This time I used my EJ strat w pregain set at 12:00 and then a Fultone Fulldrive II on top of it with the overdrive set to 12:00 and boost off.

Rhythm sounds was just the Soldano 44 at 12:00 with my EJ strat neck pickup. Lead tone also with neck pickup. This is not a clip to demonstrate good playing. I just want to see if I'm getting something worthwhile from my 44. Thanks for listening bros.

That's a better recording than the other one, I didn't hear the digital distortion on this one.

I like the tone but it's not my personal style.

I don't blame you, it really is a dorky piece of music. LOL! I was all out of ideas last night because I recorded it after practicing for several hours. Good to hear my sound is improving a little. Thanks for your feedback bro. Anything helps BTW you got me beat with the GT10. Fantastic stuff you recorded.

I meant the amp is not my style not your playing, that I liked!

That was great, really tasteful playing.
I still think the actual recording is quiet and kinda muffled though. I don't know anything at all about recording with an amp and a mic so I don't know what else to say.
I like when you play like that, rather than with the Yngwie type fills and stuff.

I like the playing actually ,but the tone is too cheesy for me.
I like it more with some edge ,bite and attack...

not my style, amp sounds only ok, muffled like others have said....clean a little too gritty for me ( I like fender cleans) and the solo needed a little more gain, more mids and bass, and some sort of reverb or delay.
