NEW SONG! Rough demo, need opinions.

Got a new song here, called "circle". A real hard-hitter. For the most part.

The mix is rough, and the tones are "meh". I did this with ezdrummer just to get the ideas down onto something I could listen to.

I'm working on vox at the moment, and there's gonna be a big, long guitar instrumental section with solos and crap between the two acoustic parts. So consider it incomplete.

Now...my question to ya'll...do you think it flows naturally? Any changes that are jarring (in a bad way)?

I know it kinda jumps around, but honest opinions are welcome ;).

the playing is tight !! ... cool chords too ... nice job all around ...

i dunno, man - i say that if the lyric holds it all together and there is some kinda unifying theme, let it hang the way you got it ... don't worry about it fitting someone's preconceived notions ....

I like it a lot man. It's a great base for a song with vocals. Just watch the galloping parts at 1:07... they're off-time a little. But that's just nitpicking. Job well done!

Updated with a new mix, new arrangement. I added a prechorus and chorus after the second verse, before the acoustic section. There's a pretty audible gap where I spliced it in, but it's not too bad.

Very cool man! The chorus is really nice, just get your lead guitar a little more forward in the mix there, me thinks..

sounds great! I heard the vox before - I agree on the vox. I think your singing is good but gotta get the right timing/pitch/hold notes/right choice of notes. so more practice or takes on the singing. Im in the same boat - it seems I could write a descent song every night. but then the vocals take me alot of tweaking and are a bit subpar until I really tweak them.

great guitarwork, I think the vocals will sound good, keep ironing things out.
