new studio recording from my band, Rebirth

HAILS MAN
good stuff.
a mix of black sabbath, The Haunted, Metallica on the Instrumental
a mix of black sabbath, Metallica and some ripper owens vokill tones on the vocal parts.
Good stuff, the distortion could be a little bit more "GAINY", and with more volume because in some parts, the drums cover teh guitars a little.
good drummer.
good bassist, tell him to improve the tone.
is he playing through a bass with 4 strings detuned or it is a 5 string bass?
anyway... the bass is a little bitty flabby. but matchex with teh drum BASS equalization

KEEP ON ROCKING.
I will post the Official Homepage of my band as soon as possible.

Thanks for checking it out. If there's any problem with the bass tone (or anything else in the recording), it's my fault, because I did the knob-turnin' (no penis references, please). It's a 5-string bass.

Hey, thanks guys. It's there for you to enjoy; or hate, whichever you prefer.

Glad you liked the vocals! For this song I tried a new mic technique: I mic'd my arse and farted! I thought it came out pretty decent!

OK, that's not true. However, since my initial posting, I did tweak the vocals a bit, bringing them better into the mix.

That sounds alot better Dru. I like what you did with the vocals now at 1:27 of the song. It'd be cool if you could bring the snare up a bit in the mix. It's kind of buried. Otherwise, everything sounds great!!

Thanks again! Unfortunately, the way I recorded it, I can't control the snare level after-the-fact. The snare came out better in another song, but it's not yet ready to post.

Metal Church? Interesting! Hadn't heard that comparison before.
