I just got the latest pics from Aaron (Blueline) of my Tele.. looks like the clearcoating is completed. Now the electronics just need to be installed and the whole guitar set up, and she'll be ready to rock.

Thanks!

A '59 humbucker is going in the neck, with a 5-2 for Tele going in the bridge. Then a piezo pickup is going in the bridge.

As far as controls, There's going to be one 500k volume pot, a 250k push-push tone pot for coil tapping the '59, a volume pot for the piezo with a midrange shifter option, a 3-way pickup selector switch, and a switch to go from full Piezo, piezo + magnetic pickups, and pure magnetic pickups. Quite a few different tones possible with this one.

Re: New Tele pics

glad you like it Alex

all that's left before the electronics and hardware is a little curing, then a good buffing

did you think it was shiney enough already?

Looking sweet! Is that poly Blueline?

Yea, it's a poly finish. I opted against Nitro because a) durability and b) personally, I can't hear a difference. (I've owned both)

Re: New Tele pics

do you mind me asking how much it ran you Alex? Blueline, your work is amazing if i keep seeing these pictures, i may have to order myself a graduation present next year.

Re: New Tele pics

thanks so much for the compliments guys
I'd love the chance to build for all of you

bvc310 - you've got a pm - i think people are getting tired of me plugging around the cite so i did it privately

Alex's guitar is very nicely equipped with a solid rosewood neck, figured rosewood FB, chambered body and piezo bridge with push/push coil tap and push/push mid/dark piezo shift

Thats just what i did. You guys can see another guitar by blueline soon, but i opted for a solid finish on a very light ash bodied guitar.

Fatty, enjoy that guitar. It looks great.

Blueline, that thing looks better every time i see it. great job
