they were loaded into an older Gibson V in place of the original Dirty Fingers.
Any info would be great.
Also.. anyone want to trade a short leg (covered) Antiquity neck for a long legged one?

thanks guys.

Welcome to the forum.

Your pickups appear to be exactly what they say on the labels. Old ones, too.

Normally, both models would be used in the bridge/Treble position. In the case of your Vee, the choices are understandable, given Gibson's habit of fitting Dirty Fingers humbuckers in both bridge and neck positions.

Re: new to the forum.. but not Duncans :D... however I need a little help with these:

Which way round were they fitted? JB in the bridge and Custom in the neck, or the other way round?

Are you thinking of dropping them back into the V, or do you have other plans?

Yeah, you don't want that JB Model. It's way old. You need a newer one. I'll do you a solid and take it off your hands so you don't have to mess with it. You won't even have to pay me to do it, it'll be on me. I'm generous that way.

I hope the OP realizes just how generous you are.

Those look amazing :D
What do you think guys early-early-1980s or late 70s?

this is where i would insert Nien Nunb's laugh. The JB was in the bridge/ Custom in the neck. Reading through some of the other threads I guess there's only a 70's -early 80's ballpark on these. I will probably be selling 1 if not both.. and regretting it immediately lol.

This is the buyer you are looking for.

Re: new to the forum.. but not Duncans :D... however I need a little help with these:

the JB is a cool sounding pickup. Different than the other two I have (90's an recent) for sure. Fuller body, less rasp. I still need to give the Custom a shot in one of my non V mahog-honeys. Darth shoot me a PM if you're serious.

** anyone have a short leg covered Antiquity neck they'd swap for a long leg? the bridge height on my Washburn P/CT's allows the longer legs but the necks don't. Baying some BK Abraxas for the same reason. argh.

There is nothing like an short legged Ant. These are copies of the original PAFs. You can buy an aftermarket plate and swap it.

Yep, short legged ant doesn't exist outside a custom order
