Amazing amp really..
Not as versatile as my Mk IV or as hairy as a Dual Recto, but it was never intended to be those things. It explores the tones that Marshall once owned, and next to my JCM 800, it has the sound and pushes right up into JCM 2000 territory. All that and it keeps a pretty good clean tone as well. In retrospect, it seems this is the blueprint for the Trans Atlantic, as it has the British sound and enough American inspired circuitry to make it suitable for a wide range of styles. It gets those sounds without the psychotic range of the Mark series; anybody that owns one knows that you write down your settings or it could take hours to get the sound back!
