New Traynor YSC-100

Anyone messed with one of these yet? I've heard both good and bad reports about them. Seem to be very interesting amps, but the price point has me running scared. Seems a little low for all that supposed versatility. They had to skimp somewhere methinks and I'm afraid that the skimping is all in the iron dept.

yup i tried one.... The Special Custom is great sounding!!!! have a salesman help you out with it, one that knows how to work all the toys.... so many buttons and knobs it's unreal.... on Channel 3 i was getting Marshall like tones.... then the salesman pushed the Scoop button in and it was more 5150-ish!

Channel 2 is almost the same as 3... seemed to be anyways...

The solo botton on the footswitch seems to be a major bonus... it just boost the master volume, you don't have to switch channels...

The XLR outs andt he headphone jacks on a tube head are welcomed!!!

So far it's a winner... I was not sold on the clean sounds i was trying to get out of it but i really don't know how to work it...

It is on my shopping list for sure!!!! that amp and a 2x12 sounds like my new club rig!

Could you compare it to a Peavey Triple XXX for me?
