New Tremolo not quite right....

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
Got a Marshall Vibratrem.

When playing direct into the amp: Guit > Pedal > Amp - The first notes/chords have no tremolo effect until I stop playing/hold a chord. Then the throb kicks in. Happens on Triangle vs Square wave. If I play fast enough it doesn't sound like it is on at all as long as I keep playing.

In the Loop: Sounds perfect!

I had a vibratrem for years, and never had anything like that happening. I do remember that the usable depth and speed settings for the trem and vibrato were wildly different, so if you had it set to do vibrato and then switched to trem it would barely be noticeable. Any chance you're running into something along those lines?

Ahhh - figured it out.

As per GuitarStv - the depth could be deeper / useable range. It never goes "off". all the way silent. The gain from the amp was boosting it even on the deepest setting to the point where it would be heard.

As the level on the gain channel dropped, the Tremolo would become more prominent. Actually a potentially cool fade in effect....

Thanks for the inspiration to check the full range. Just been using some Uber-Trems lately. So quiet they are almost noise cancelling in the environment!
