New tube recommendations for Traynor YCV40?

I bought my YCV40 used 6 or 7 years ago, and now it has started sounding fizzy. Even the clean channel sounds dirty. I accidentally left it on for a few days a while back and this started after that, so i figure it's time for new tubes.

I was looking on Eurotubes at:

Traynor YCV40 - KT77 Blues Option.
Price: $72.50
Description: A hot matched pair of the JJ KT77's for more of a Brit flavor, a standard ECC83S for V2, an ECC832 for V1 to drop the gain just a bit and give a more natural drive tone for Blues and a balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V3.

Any opinions or recommendations?

Thanks,
Steve

Went with Euro and JJ's when i first bought my amp years ago...love them...still going strong too!

Aside:

Thanks to EuroTubes, I am going to do the 6V6 transformation to my Hot Rod DeVille next month - will drop the output to about 28-30 watts (from 60) and give it a smoother vibe. Eurotubes says "These will reduce the harsh mids, the brittle highs and make the drive channel much more usable with less overall output."

I am going to go for it. If it sucks, I will just put the OLD (still has factory glass in it from 1996!) 6L6s in it and re-bias.
