New tubes for my Marshall Bluesbreaker?

Which tubes would you put in? Replacing all but the rectifier.

Two 5881's and three 12AX7A's

Thinking of going with JJ but would like other opinions or why these are my best choice.
What about using KT66's in place of the 5881's, will they fit this amp?
And what about bias? Do I need to take the amp to a pro just to replace the tubes?
TIA.

New power tubes will need a rebias.

I hear good things about the Tung-Sol new production 5881's. There is a bunch of 6L6 type tubes that would sound and work good. KT66's will definitely need a rebias. The large bottle size could be a issue, But of ALL AMPS! You would figure KT-66's would fit in a bluesbreaker.

If your Bluesbreaker is one of the older one KT-66's will NOT fit...not even close! The new Tung Sol 5881's are getting rave reviews as are the tung sol 12AX7's...I use the TS 12AX7's and really like them, I haven't tried the 5881's yet.

KT-66's are sweet indeed. I'd go for them if they will fit.
