Re: New Tune "1970"

Cool tune - almost has an Eric Johnson-like feel and sound in a lot of places. Definitely got some hot licks in there as well.

Re: New Tune "1970"

Always a pleasure, you are a true artist of the strat. Amazing tone, I really dig those JMPs - modded? Let me guess, most of the saturation came from Jubilee and JMP gave colour and body with just its natural crunch ? Toward the end I heard awesome whammy bar work in the style of Satch, Flying in the blue dream era, awesome stuff. What drumm software are you using ?

Re: New Tune "1970"

Sounds great: i hear "Hendrix" a la' "Hear my train coming"-"VooDoo Chile" influences.:cool2::cool2::cool2::cool2:

Re: New Tune "1970"

Thanks so much. Jimi is my all time favorite guitarist.

Frank;I figure your a similar age to me .Hendrix was such an influence to guitarists in the 60's and 70's,as was Clapton.[there weren't many others around -Page,Beck.Blackmore and a few others]
"Hear my train coming", the version from rainbow bridge; has to be my favorite Hendrix piece/playing.After 30 something years they released video of the concert[Jimi plays berkely]and abominated H.M.T.C. by editing it into a shorter version.:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
