Just finished a new ditty, GAMMY BLUE. I guess if you crossed The Doors, No Quarter, and a black light poster, you would end up with this. Less song, more sound-scape.
The tune Features the best drum track I have ever been around in my life. Rikki Davenport takes 1st take to a whole new level on this. Freakin amazing actually.... I knew when we finished the take, that he had knocked out something special. My friend Jordan Slominsky of Josiah Wordsworth lays down the beautiful Fender Rhodes, on this track. Long time friend Courtney Danielson lays down the lovely spoken verse.
I am useing a Ward's PA head, into a g1270 loaded 1/12 PV cab for the Rhythm and a Eminence GB12 loaded 2/12 PV cab for the lead. I opened the back up on both cabs, so they just sound huge. Weber MASS in play as well. Kept it pretty heavy on the verb, as it kept the dreamy thang goin on.....
Not the typical tune from me, but I have had the riff sittin around for a few years, decided to mess with it.
ENJOY!!
