So yeah, releasing it a day early. Gonna be busy on the 20th.
Stuff:
Squier 51, same King's X-ish tone as used on Set You Free (Line 6 GuitarPort, 6505 II model). Actually it's a bit modified, I turned the gain down a touch. Pickup config for rhythm & the dual lead lines are the neck single & bridge hum in split mode. The lead lines have extra verb & delay. The wanky solo parts are the bridge pup in humbucker mode, with a cocked wah added.
Heheheh, cocked.
Wanky solo parts; I played over the rhythm tracks a couple of times for a general idea of where I wanted to go, then hit 'record.' both are first take, one pass. When you play lead as poorly as I do, ain't no point spending a lot of time on it.
Tuning is open C major, CGCGCE. Everyone needs to switch to this.
Have you ever like, looked at a plant, dude? It's like...they breathe & ****. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
