New Uber-stylish Tremolo!

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
So, finally the Dunlop Tremolo Volume Pedal has entered my collection. Wanted one of these for a long time. Never pulled the trigger because
- Too expensive (or I'm too cheap, either way)
- Little red buttons broken
- Chrome in crappy shape
- Combo of all three

But this came in prime shape at the right price. Brilliant idea in the days before tap and ramp technology etc...

very cool pedal! always liked those, but never pulled the trigger. the minimum/maximum volume setting is a cool feature, especially with the potential for boost

As a tremolo enthusiast, have you ever tried the Colorsound Tremolo? It's made by the Tonebender guys and is supposed to be based off the AC30.

A great question.

Some people chase certain Wah's. Some people chase certain Tremolo's - Obviously fender, and Vox as well. The Vox is a more square wave as Tremolo's go. Very distinctive for the time.

I don't really seek out classic amp emulation. I mean, Tremolo is just amplitude up and down at the end of the day. Infinite was to do it. I dig the sounds I doing, whether Triangle, Sine, Square, or whatever. And of course, features, of which the Colorsound has none, and unobtanium pricing as well.

I'm certain I could easily craft that sound on the Duncan, or a few others.

I never dug the Reverend vibe. I have a friend that loves them, but they don't do much for me.

reeves gabrels lives around here and hangs around a local music shop. they stock a lot of reverend stuff, im sure partially cause of that. he plays em live and makes em sound great, but they arent usually my thing
