Client traded me the husk of a Squier Strat he had laying around for a trio of Bill Lawrence pickups for another Strat he was keeping. I installed a no-name vibrato and a pickguard from Lace Sensor loaded with an H/S/S wiring set from the parts room. In the #2 position the humbucker is tapped to get a true single coil quack along with the middle unit. Sounds darn good, and plays nice as well. Blocked the bridge since it lacked an arm. Surprised the heck out of me.
