New Vox TL Recordings [JV Strat Content]

Two more short clips with some distorted Jimmie Vaughan Strat sounds:

This one's a bit of Robben Ford at about 8 in the morning... a few muckups but I kept it because I liked the tone a lot at points here...almost saxlike at around 0:40. All one setting on the TL, clean bits at beginning done by rolling off volume. The TL responds very well.

Again, I really liked the tone on this little snippet. I'm re-learning this song and I'm really re-discovering these great JB licks... anyways, I thought this was worth keeping from last night - the 'saxlike' tone is there again.

on the morning jam...when the solo starts , there is one guitar all the way to the right, and one in the center. I am at work listening on the headphones, and I must say it is a bit...distracting, you cannot focus on any of the guitars..

on the jeff beck lick...what's the noise that can be heard underneath the licks? the amp?

overall, nice playing man..

The noise underneath sounds like normal strat hum.

Great recordings, tone, and playing!

Yeah, sorry bout the panning, haven't done this in a WHILE. In the Beck clip, that would a bit of single coil hum and a lot do do with the lights in the room. I'm planning on dropping in a bridge HB and a some SC-sized humbuckers in the middle and neck.
