this guitar is still in progress
what is the first thing that comes up to your mind when you see this
and would you play a guitar like that

Re: new X-Fusion guitar in progress (The explorer from D&C)

Hey man, which pickups are those? They look really insteresting with only eight holes in each cover...and btw, this guitar is awesome! Would totally play it!

Re: new X-Fusion guitar in progress (The explorer from D&C)

The pickups are handwounded pickups
non active but pure Metal when i got a soundclip i post it here

That is all kinds of badass! Love it!

Re: new X-Fusion guitar in progress (The explorer from D&C)

Thanks! Looks killer! I'll bet the steel FB provides some great neck stability too

Love those pickup rings. I put a set of them on my 7-string.

intense **** my man. How much for a flat radius slotted steel fretboard blank? woot

Re: new X-Fusion guitar in progress (The explorer from D&C)

I think you should have made the pickup rings. I am sure you could do a way better job than those skull ones sold on ebay? Anyway it looks rad.

i by the skull rings from guitarhead not e-bay ;)
a steel fretboard is something i can only build for D&C Guitars, when i make them i first do fret leveling by hand than, i mounted to the neck and i have to start again
i cost one fretfile/ fretboard and it really is not easy so it would be to expencive to make them for selling, the frets and board are laser-cut, so it gets really hot, now when steel gets hot the structure change from soft to really hard
than i weld the frets on the fretboard and it gets even harder
frets for life ;)

so here it is in all his glory

The story:

this guitar is a special design for Sinister Guitar Picks the pic with the steel edge
now what can be more metal than a guitar pick with steel edge and a Metal body guitar with Metal fretboard from D&C Metal Body Guitars
the question was.... Make it as metal as possible
so.... it has RGB LED inside and push buttons on the top, so you can change color any time you want to.
it has a steel fretboard with a sinister guitar pick inlay (the spitfire) the body has a transparent black relic color and the neck is made form hard maple, and has a D&C Relic
locking nut, finetuning on the bridge
2 humbuckers, handwounded by 4 seasons pickups
the RGB LED works on a 9 V battery, to change the battery, there is a battery holder installed.... so easy to change the battery no screwdriver needed :headbang:
real soon this Guitar will go to USA
so stay tuned for more news
