I tried wiring my first pickguard today and it doesn't work. I have no tone knob, no switch, 1 pickup only (SD lil59 in neck), and a liberator as volume. a MIM strat.
I used the wiring diagram (liberator mastervolume, one humbucker) the diagram shows a bridge pickup on the left but I wired it from the right(because it is a neck) the spare wires that said solder together(I twisted and taped), the ones that said don't use I just left hanging. now nothing works, what did I do wrong? someone please help this old fool.
