NGD: 2016 LTD EC-1000 Koa

Spotted this used for a good price and after a play really enjoyed it. Just a very versatile comfortable guitar to play. Always has a sh14 and sh2 which I'm really digging for all kinds of genres. A little smudged, dusty , and the neck needs to be cleaned up
Until I can take some nicer pics here are two quick ones. There is a bit of flame it seems in the Koa. I'm digging the wood and black hardware.

Thanks! Honestly not sure about the sonic impact of koa but it is pretty and certainly not bad sounding. The koa top over mahogany body. There is a brightness to it that I love but also a beef to it that's awesome.
I'm really digging the pickups. My first SDs (yes and I've been here for a bit but just now had the chance). Just wow the complexity of the sound and clean, distorted everything. Very happy with it

Beautiful - I almost snagged one myself but went with the Iron Cross since I preferred the EMG Het Set.

Congratulations, that is a beauty! I am a big Koa fan myself, that's what first got me hooked on Carvin guitars.

Congrats x 2!! On a killer new guitar, and getting initiated to the wonders that are Seymour Duncan pickups!

I had a EC 1000 CTM for awhile and loved it.. had to roll it for financial reasons though..
