This, and an ebay listing are the only places I've seen this cabinet. Both are charging $679.00.

I just bought it used off of craigslist for $150! I wasn't even shopping for a cabinet, I just saw this crazy deal and jumped on it. Stock private jack speakers are still in it, I opened it up to check it out, took a pic, and covered it up again. It's been years since I played through a cabinet, there is a bit of compression and thumping low end, I'm looking forward to some recording some metal clips. The combo sounds awfully bright compared to the cab, now I can finally turn up the treble a little bit.

Give a review of those Private Jacks when you get through the honeymoon phase, will you? I have zero experience playing Greenbacks or their doppelgangers, so I'd appreciate your comparison to Vintage 30's, for example. And I'm definitely an Eminence guy, so that cab looks fantastic.

i didnt even see there were private jacks! yes there are great alternatives to v30s you must tell us your opinion of them too :)

Sorry to say, my opinion of them is worth jack ****. The last cab I owned was a randall and I don't even know what speakers were in it. I've got no experience with speakers to draw on so the best I can do is record some sound clips.

I like your humility, dude, but from what I've read from you, I really don't think it's warranted. Congratulations on your new setup. At least let us know what you think of it in comparison to what you wanted, and I'll be looking forward to clips.

I still need to do the hex vs filister shootout with my custom 8, I'll probably do a cab vs combo speaker shootout too.

really nice clips man, I liked the ones with the Schecter axe better tho, they sounded ballsier...

Ill check these out on break! Im really curious how a cab with private jacks or greenbacks would sound.. I changed the stock speaker in my PV classic 30 to a private jack and the whole amp was diff. There is alot more break up. I worry that a big amp would break em up too much.. BUT much of the music Ive loved have been done thru greenback loaded cabs...
