Well, it isn't "new", and it isn't the "day". It's a 1988 ES-335 that I received on March 18, my birthday. One look and listen convinced me that the Lawrence "Original Humbuckers" (both Rhythm) had to go, so did the pots, and the body needed some work. Two months later, the nitro is dried and buffed, I have learned the hard way that this axe takes SHORT shaft pops, but needs a LONG shaft jack, and I finally plugged it in, with a pair of Seth Lovers. NICE. I have a pair of Antiquities in my R9, and a JB and '59 in my Prestige Musician Pro. Sooo, I guess I am now qualified to answer questions about Seymour Duncan humbuckers.
