here she is straight out of the box, didn't even wipe her off yet.


So I told you guys I got this on a killer deal I couldn't pass up right?
It came in today. Here are pictures of the "damage"
The only one that bugs me is picture #6.... not too sure how much damage may be in there.... it will need some sanding so I won't get slivers in my hand. Any suggestions on how to fix this specific problem?
There is a crack in the headstock finish right above the 4rd string tuner. Its the only crack in the finish, the finish is beautiful, obviously better than my cell phone can shoot pictures of.

Ya its banged up pretty good, but .... it sounds and plays well, so now its my high dollar beat-up Beeotch! :naughty:

Wow! She's a beaut! And that price is nuts.

Does the neck crack open if you put pressure on the neck? Either way I'm sure it's a simple fix. There are a bunch of repair tutorials around the net.

How did you find this deal? Just browsing MF?

Yessiree another MF ugly duckling.
There was a scary cherry one for the same price, but it has a broken headstock thats been repaired. I wanted the Braziliaburst finish, but it had no pictures available.... so I got off a little bit better than I was thinking I may.

$191 I have paid more for a lot worse guitars....

$191!!!! Holy smokes!! I cant ever find scores like that. the headstock should look pretty decent since you have the chip..

I dont like them big headstocks, but the neck on ML I had was really really sweet.

Those things are cool. It's a shame they've already been discontinued. BTW: Dean pickups aren't handwound. There are probably several of us on here that can attest to the 2 or 3 machines they have down there winding the bobbins for them. Not that that's bad or anything, just sayin.

I will have to buy a case. Thats a downer I suppose.
Overalll I'm pretty happy for the money. I will learn how to glue and sand the fretboard back to strength.
Then I'm gonna treat her like the dirty girl she is.:chairshot

Oh hell yes....

Little epocy and a c-clamp for the headstock - not that it matters. As for the neck - maybe a syringe with a little liquid epoxy of some sort and a more extensive c-clampage.
