Took my wife to Lexington, KY for a quick weekend getaway and this followed me home. Willcutt Guitars had it used for $1,300. Not sure what year it is, but it has an all rosewood neck, instead of the roasted maple. It plays like dream. Funny thing is that I went in there to try out this same model to audition the Transition pickups for a build I'm working on. Haven't played a Music Man in years, and have to say I'm impressed.

I live an hr from Willcutt, that is a sweet shop!
It's so nice not to have to drive 2 hrs to Nashville for high end gear.
Guitar Emporium is in Louisville and it''s cool too!
You can ask to meet Gearmanndude and he may come out and say hi if he's there that day..

I have a Petrucci with a roesewood neck and I can agree that MM make great guitars. Was never on my radar of guitars to buy, but now I wouldn't mind another.
