I received it yesterday. First imperission is wow. It looks nice. It has a thick neck and a thick body. I have not yet plugged it in. So I can't comment on how it sounds plugged in. I will post pictures of it later. It cost 269 euros.

They're a lot of guitar for the money. To me, for tone it's important for an SG neck to have some thickness to it, because the body doesn't have much, and Epi's been doing that with most of their SG's. The necks feel great.

That's a nice axe.

Yes it is By far the best Epi I've ever played. I've owned two before. One was a regular g-400. The pickups weren't great but the reason why I let it go was the thick sticky finish. The other was a worn model. It had a nice feel but it was thinner than my current axe.

My favorite Epi is the '58 Korina Explorer that I bought, modded with Lace Deathbuckers, then sold to a friend.

I've been playing this for a few weeks now. The pickups sound nice. The coil tap brings a bit of a thinner sound. To my ears it reduces all frequences a bit, but doesn't sound like a single coil. The coil tap takes a bit oomph of the sound. The tuners are solid. I think this is a very good guitar in this price range.
