NGD Fender Custom Shop Strat

One of my friends who desperately scrounging for money for NAMM show hit me up with an amazing offer I could not refuse. So i got this custom shop John Cruz strat with one of the nicest birdseye necks I have ever seen. I am still in awwww. I just got the guitar so I dont know all the specs yet but I know he change the pick ups which I was bummed about but I will being changing them back shortly. Im also not to fond of the gold pickguard so ill be changing that aswell. here are some pics.

thats an awesome neck, and i agree with the guard, maybe if it was a standard maple neck but the birdseye and gold dont match, pretty sweet guitar though, never played a fender custom shop guitar but i bet it plays awesome

perhaps this would be a good application for one of the new antiquity strat pre loaded pickguards

gorgeous birdseye btw one of the best I've ever seen

I could stare at that neck with no body attached to it! Just take the neck off and hang it on the wall.

Very cool guitar. I think a "mother of toilet seat" guard would look awesome on that.

I've seen some good birdseye necks, I own a good birdseye neck, but that by far and away outstrips them all

That guitar is just begging for a black 3 ply guard, Gilmour style.

And yes, that neck is neckgasmic.

Thats so funny Cause I was just talking to my wife about that last night Black pickguard is what im thinking of doing on the guitar.

Thanks so much guys I still cant believe I got it.

Thing plays amazing far exceeds my other strats but sadly Ive just been staring at it. Suppose to be getting a New Badcat in soon so I cant wait to get this guitar on some tracks.

Beautiful! I dig it!

I like the pickguard personally. But I've got one on my strat so I am a bit biased. Ha

I just dont think the gold pickguard goes good with the chrome hardware I am going to change it out and go gilmour with it.
