NGD! FERNANDES Vintage Strat!

Hey folks,

I just bought this guitar for a really low price here in Brazil!
It sounds, plays and looks amazing!

It has a maple neck, rosewood slapboard, one piece alder body and ceramic pickpups.

I've done some research about it but i couldn't find much :?:...
It seems to be a LE-1 from the late 80's but i'm not so sure...

Does anybody know anything about this particular model?

Dangit! was hoping for some Brad Gillis content...

Still, sweet axe. Fernandez made some great stuff back in the day. Nice score.

That would be an LE-2. The LE-1 had a maple board.

My old Frankenstein painted guitar has the body from an LE-2 and the neck is still floating around in my parts bin.

There isn't much information about them on the internet from what I've searched, but I'll admit I didn't look past the second page on Google.

Nice guitar, I think it'd look killer with an 8-whole pickguard, if those aren't too much trouble to find in Brazil. Is it just the picture, or is it that glossy in person?
